Art Exhibition Management Software

Every exhibition is a mini production — works, loans, insurance, shipping, install, and post-show follow-up — usually held together by a shared Google Sheet and a group chat. Aurelian is art exhibition management software that structures the whole cycle so nothing falls through the crate.

What it does

Exhibition as a project

Group works, artists, dates, venue, and stakeholders under one exhibition record. Every downstream document references it.

Checklists & hang lists

Generate curatorial checklists, price lists, hang lists, and wall labels from the same inventory — one edit, everything updates.

Loan agreements & insurance

Loan-in and loan-out tracked with agreements, valuations for cover, and return dates flagged before they lapse.

Shipping & install log

Crates, couriers, condition reports, install photographs — all attached to the works, retrievable years later.

Post-exhibition reporting

Sold, reserved, on-hold, returned. Sales by artist and by day. Collector follow-ups scheduled automatically at close.

Who uses this

Gallery exhibition programme

Six shows a year, each with its own checklist, PR list, price list, and post-show report — generated from the same inventory.

Art fair booth

Booth-specific workspace with a hang plan, live sold/reserved states, and collector follow-up prompts triggered at fair close.

Museum-quality loan show

Multi-lender exhibitions with per-work loan agreements, insurance schedules, and condition reporting captured against each piece.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Can it produce printable checklists and price lists?

Yes. Every exhibition can generate branded PDF checklists, price lists, and wall labels from the underlying inventory.

Does it handle loan agreements?

Loan agreements can be attached to each work with lender, valuation for cover, loan period, and return date. Automated reminders before return dates are on the roadmap.

Is this suitable for museums?

Aurelian is designed for commercial galleries and dealers. Museums with formal collection management standards (Spectrum, CIDOC-CRM) may need a dedicated CMS such as TMS or Axiell.
